I am desperately waiting for Wordpress to turn their bbPress forum software into a full fledged Wordpress plugin, so that it will be just as easy to setup a wordpress blog, as it will be to setup a wordpress forum. Right now their bbPress platform works seperate from Wordpress, but once the plugin comes around, you can use the same user database for your website and the forums.
