Sunday Link Love v9
Ok, so I didn’t post my Sunday Link Love v9 as early as I’d like to because I wanted to give some more time for my post about the World’s Largest Digg Button to get a few more Digg’s. It got about 9 in less than a couple days which was a decent result; however, I know it would have been more popular on Digg if I had a larger reader base to help promote the post by Digging it.
In any case, here are the posts I liked for the week:
Let’s start things off with a link to a bigger blogger. While long time readers will already know I rarely link to big time bloggers because they already get promoted enough. However, this tip is incredibly valuable and I intend to use it when I start to do video on my blog. It’s a tutorial on how to make your online video’s clickable (for affiliate offers etc.)
The next post comes from a person that was looking to advertise on my entrecard ad slot. I checked out his blog and this post stuck out to me. It’s nice to see he was able to get his content onto some larger websites. Read more about how he did it here.
The next link comes from Shane who came up with a list of 23 of his favorite wordpress themes. This list helped me snag a theme I’m going to use for a future project so I wanted to share it with the rest of you in case you find it helpful.
Jay wrote an interesting article on outsourcing webflipping tasks like the article writing. It was an interesting read and I’d be even more interested to see if anyone else has tried this out with success. Feel free to share below.
Lastly here’s a post from a few weeks ago from a blog I just discovered. It’s 7 effective ways to increase your technorati authority. This shares a few of the ideas I discussed in my 10 ways to improve your technorati rank that new readers of my blog may want to check out.
