My Blog Acquired for $40,000
I bought this domain name at the end of 2009 from a domainer who had hand registered it several years ago, so naturally I had to pay quite the premium for the domain ($5,000). However, I'm happy to say the purchase has paid off with the sale for $40,000!
The new owner wishes to remain anonymous for now but she did mention the domain name, current readership and quality content produced by this blog each week was what helped make her purchase decision. I'll remain on as one of the primary bloggers and she will be hiring on a few other part time bloggers to help create articles on the topic of making money on the internet.
I would have liked to develop the blog longer before selling but making $35,000 for 3 months worth of work made the decision pretty easy. The next order of business will be to he hire more bloggers to help with content creation. If you are interested please contact me to discuss why you would like to write for this blog.

LOL. Chris you actually did get me on this one! Even though I figured it out by the time I hit the end of the post that it was an april fools joke.
That would’ve been a sweet ROI. Anyway with the direction you’re taking this blog I wouldn’t be surprised by this time next year if you do sell it for that much

Thanks Mike. Yah I don’t plan to sell it anytime soon. I like to hold onto sites until it’s possible to sell them for 6 figures.
Granted, I haven’t had a 6 figure sale yet… but I am working on one now.
