The Motive Network – Powered by Advent 2.0 Review

The Motive Network aka Motive Interactive has just recently launched their Advent 2.0 system. When I had completed this review Advent 2.0 was still under beta, so it’s exciting to see the system out of beta now. In any case, before I get too ahead of myself I’d like to give you a better overview of what the company is all about:

The Motive Network is an affiliate marketing company that offers hundreds of CPA offers for publishers to user on their websites, search campaigns etc. I found offers for Tooth Whitening, Nintendo Wii Fit and several Presidential campaign type offers which I’m sure are really hot right now. Besides offering CPA payment they also offer CPL, CPS and revenue share options as well. So after spending some time with the new system I could see they’re really trying to appeal to as large an audience of affiliate marketers as possible while at the same time vastly improving the features offered in their admin panel.

I spent some time researching Motive in preparation for this review and one of the things I wanted to touch on was how flexible this company is. For example, if you find the same offer on another affiliate network for a better price simply contact your affiliate manager and they’ll beat it. You can also negotiate a weekly or net 15 day payment schedule if you’re a qualified publisher.

Motive also offers all a wide array of tools to keep you up to speed on how your offers are performing like: SID and AID tracking, Real time tracking and reporting, Advanced metrics: eCPM, eCPC, eCPL, Exportable Reports, Ad Serving, Impression tracking, Host and Post offers, Live server responses. While it’s hard for me to really say whether Motive does a better job than their competitors with the time I have to put together this review – I did not notice any glaring ommisions that other affiliate companies are offering and they’re not.

However, one thing that I know that differentiates them from their competitors is their lifetime referral program of 5.5%. That number is huge and I haven’t seen any other company that offers better. There is one stipulation on the lifetime referral though – A referred publisher must continue to generate commissions without a lapse of 12 calendar months in order for the referrer to continue receiving the 5.5% commission from that publisher each month. Which makes sense to me. Besides if they haven’t generated anything in 12 months odds are they won’t generate anything in the future. Motive also offers a tiered rewards program that starts out at 1% and increases to 2% at the higher tier.

Overall I would recommend you definitely sign up at The Motive Network to try out their offers. The motive team was quick to respond to any issues or questions that I had which is half the battle when it comes to affiliate marketing. I can’t count how many companies I’ve tried to use that took forever to respond (or simply did not). An account at Motive Interactive is free of course and if there is one thing I’ve learned while running websites in the past three years it’s that experimentation is important. Never settle for what you’re currently earning, give Motive a try and it could really improve your earnings.
