Make Money on the Internet

MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate Review

MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate is a plugin I’m using on this blog right now and it allows you to easily manage all of your affiliate links in a centralized location.

How it works:

Simply put in the destination of the affiliate link and how you want it to look like. Using the Shoemoney System as an example I chose to make the link look like this: http://www.makemoneyontheinternet.com/go/shoemoney.php but you could change the destination URL to look like http://www.makemoneyontheinternet.com/shoemoney if you really wanted to.

There is also the ability to automatically convert keywords into affiliate links which is the best part of this plugin. So whenever the text Shoemoney System (or any keyword I choose to convert for a specific affiliate link) is read by the plugin it automatically converts the keyword to an affiliate link. The beauty of this is now you have affiliate links automatically populated in your past posts that are still receiving traffic via Social Media, SEO etc. and this can help you earn more money from your blog.

Every link on my resources page was created using this plugin and I can also track the number of clicks on the links I’ve created as well. Yes I could find this information by going to each individual affiliate program and logging in to check the stats, but this is so much easier to do from a single reporting screen from within my blog.

Overall Impression:

This is another one of those must own WordPress plugins if you’re interested in both saving time and making money. If you are looking for an affiliate link management system or had considered buying the plugin before but never got around to it this is one of the best plugins on the market (if not the best):

I’m a satisfied user of this. I first heard about it in David Risley’s Blog Masters Club when he told us, “If you’re going to be doing much for affiliate marketing, this is the way to go.” It makes things soooo easy!

I’ve used it in the past, but have since said my goodbyes. My problem is that it just completely overdoses on the amount of affiliate links I want to put out. I have found that sometimes I want to mention a product or site without spamming my affiliate link, and with this plugin installed it just creates a big headache! It’s not too much effort to just sit down and plug in your own URL if you are an obsessive blogger like myself ;)

    Hey Jim,

Yah that makes sense, I just like it from the convenience of being able to simply pick from a drop down menu and link to the affiliate link easily.

The other thing I’ve done is I use the formal long name of a product or service to auto convert the keywords to links so knowing that in the back of my head I can talk about web hosting without web hosting becoming an affiliate link and being all spammy (like you mentioned above).

In either case I can see what you mean though :)

    Hello Jim,

MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate has feature to control the links for the situation like your. You can exclude certain category from automatic linking. So, when you want a post without any affiliate links you can publish your post in that category. I can understand you may want to exclude links in any category but this feature helps a beat.

You can also limit the number of affiliate links to be converted in the post so that your post doesn’t look spammy.

You can find these options under Ninja Link Options setting.

    Thanks

That’s not a very good alternative. Your developers are missing the obvious answer — put an option box in the WordPress “Post” and “Page” editors that allows you to disable all links in particular areas of content. ;)
