I removed my pop up because I think like Wei, I hate all those windows appearing over everything, forcing me to check something.... I set one on my blog to make a test, just for that. I removed in two weeks...However, personally I think that popups are a good resource to attract the people attention. May be they could be annoying for someone but it has its conversion rate...Mr Javo´s last blog post..Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Well, actually the way most people have it set up is to show just once. So that’s how they try to combat the fact that it can be annoying.

But I wonder if just displaying it once can upset a visitor enough to make them not come anymore.

Actually, I pretty hate to see a pop-up like this on blogs. Especially on the ones I frequent often because I have already signed up.There could be a plugin to show the pop-up only to non-subscribers which will make more sense.
