So you have decided to get involved in marketing online and you want to market your own product. This is great however you need to ensure that you follow a step-by-step process to ensure your success. Below you will find the steps you need to follow in product creation.

Determine the need that is not being met- People get online to do research when they want to solve their problems. You should be surfing forums to see what people are asking and then see if you can provide a solution.

Research, Research, Research- Once you have found your niche the research doesn’t stop there. You need to ensure that prospects in that niche are spending money and that there are enough prospects. You need to also ensure that you will be able to cut through against the competition in your chosen niche. Not doing this research can lead to costly and expensive mistakes.

Put the product together- More research required here. Find out how your prospects would like there information compiled and give it to them in a popular way. You also need to ensure that you have researched the topic and provide your customer’s with accurate information.

Value your work, but price your product competitively- Don’t undervalue your work and price your product too low, but you also need to ensure you are competitive against your competition.

Capture Prospects- Sometimes (most-times) prospects won’t buy the first time they see your product, so you need to ensure that you have a way to capture their name and email address so you can keep in touch with them and continuously encourage them to purchase products from your rage.

Ensure Timely Delivery of your products- Nothing annoys prospects more than paying for a product and then having to wait too long to receive what they have paid for. If you are developing a product ensure it is delivered in a timely manner, either by email or by a re-direct to the download page.

If you follow the steps listed above, you should find yourself in good stead for launching, and selling a product online.
