How to Make Money Submitting FREE Press Releases!

1 If you follow my suggestions in this report then you should start

making money from press releases in just a few days.

I'm going to concentrate on using just one press release site – that

website is Pressbox. In my opinion it's one of the very best sites

for submitting free press releases.

The really good thing about Pressbox is that unlike some press

release sites e.g. prweb.com (which is the largest press release

website on the internet) it's very easy to get a press release

approved - I've never had one rejected yet! They aren't fussy

about word counts or whether your press release sounds too much

like an advertisement. They allow links and you can submit a

small logo – all for free!

 

2Your press releases will usually appear in Google and Yahoo in

about 72 hours, but sometimes they can take a little longer.

How to Make Money Using Pressbox

There are many ways of making money using Pressbox. You

could use press releases for acquiring leads, promoting affiliate

products, selling your own products, sending visitors to a page

with Adsense ads on etc.

I'm going to show you how I make money promoting affiliate

products using Pressbox and Clickbank.

 

3Finding an Affiliate Product to Promote

Go to the Clickbank home page. Sign up if you aren't already an

affiliate, then click on the “Promote Products” tab at the top

then click on the “Marketplace” link.

Now in Search the Clickbank Marketplace go to Sort by and

pick “High Gravity” and then choose a Category.

I've chosen “Health & Fitness”.

Press “Go”!

 

4You'll get a long list of products you can promote but you really

only want to consider the ones that have a gravity (grav) of at least

20.

I'll use “Stop Sweating and Start Living” which is an e-book on

how to stop excessive sweating. This product has a gravity of

25.63.

Click on “create hoplink” and enter your Clickbank ID to create

your affiliate link. Keep a note of it!

To view the product sales page click “view pitch page”.

 

5Choosing a Key Phrase

Now you need to choose a key phrase which will be the

headline/title of your press release.

A good keyword suggestion tool can be found here:

In this example the product is an e-book called “Stop Sweating

and Start Living”. I often use the name of the product as the

title/headline of my press releases.

So lets see how many searches there are for the key phrase “stop

sweating start living”. As you can see there aren't that many

searches a day but it's very targeted! It's a good idea to write 2 or 3

press releases promoting the same product each using a different

key phrase as the title. Make sure you don't submit identical press

releases though!

 

6Writing Your Press Release

For the press release text I usually write 3 or 4 paragraphs. I visit

the product sales page and basically write a short review of the

product.

Pressbox allow anchor text. You can make your key phrase into

anchor text using this code:

Submitting Your Press Release

In order to submit your free press release you need to go to the

“Add a Press Release” page:

Enter your contact name and e-mail address. I only enter my

name and e-mail. That's all that's needed but you can enter more

Now enter your Site URL (if you have a website) or if

you don't have a website, enter your affiliate link in the ”Site

URL” field.

 

8Enter your Headline next. Make sure that you use your key phrase

as the headline. This is very important!

Next choose a Category for your press release. You can only

submit to one category so find one that's appropriate.

Finally, enter your Press Release Text. If you have a logo you can

submit one.

 

9Make sure that your press release doesn't contain any grammatical

and spelling mistakes. Once you've done that, enter the letters that

you see and click “Submit Press Release”.

That's it! Now you just have to wait for Pressbox to send you an email

informing you that your press release has been approved.

They usually approve them within 48 hours.

Pressbox doesn't put a limit on how many press releases you can

submit so you can write as many as you like!

 

To sum up...

Choose a targeted key phrase for your press release title

Write your press release

Submit your press release here

Repeat!
